DEBATE JUST ADDED!

PLEASE NOTE THE SCHEDULE CHANGE. Issues related to God, sex, and gender have polarized our culture, and too many Christians are ill-equipped to navigate the murky waters of discussion. This event will examine the philosophical, biblical, and pragmatic reasons for holding to conservative and complementarian views of sexuality. The day will conclude with a tag-team debate regarding a proper understanding of love. See below for the debate details.

SES Open House

SES will host its free Summer Open House from 9:30-noon the morning prior to this event. If you are interested in learning more about the many ways SES can help equip you to proclaim and defend the Gospel we encourage you to register for the Open House. Open House attendees will receive free admission to the God, Sex, & Gender event.

Invite T.E.A.M.

T.E.A.M. (Truth, Evangelism, and Apologetics Mission) is the missions/outreach arm of Southern Evangelical Seminary (SES). It consists of SES students, alumni, and faculty who are both trained and willing to go wherever invited to help others think well about reality and the truthfulness of Christianity. Learn more about how T.E.A.M. can serve you.

DEBATE

Must Love & Tolerance Equal Affirmation?

We are excited to add a semi-formal debate to the conclusion of our event. Drs. Michael Brown and Frank Turek will dialog with Revs. April Johnson and Ladale Benson regarding the nature of love. Must we affirm beliefs, desires, and behaviors in order truly to love someone? What exactly is "love"? The ticket price includes the debate. Please join us!
